"Pair Of Louis XVI Style Library Support Furniture From Maison Rinke"
Pair of support furniture forming a library or showcase in the Louis XVI style and from the first part of the 20th century. They open with 1 brass mesh door (one on the right the other on the left) they are topped with a Portor marble which follows the projections of the cut sides and the rear hook. The blond mahogany veneer is of very good quality and is embellished with lemon tree fillets with Greek decorations that follow the door frame. The front and rear uprights are in imitation of 3 grooves. The sides are in butterfly wing veneer. The bronze trim is opulent and its high quality of carving and gilding. The top frieze that encircles the piece of furniture is made of ovals and heart lines. The falls in the form of a capital are on the tops of the 4 uprights. We find at the bottom of the 4 legs a floral decoration to balance the uprights. Finally, a bronze in the bottom of the lamp finalizes the perfect realization of this pair of furniture. The interior is lined with an adjustable shelf mounted on a rack. The furniture is stamped with the stamp of the Rinck house. Rare in pair. In a perfect state . They will be adapted to a decor of a library or a living room to the right and left of a window or a door. They can support both a pair of sculptures or a pair of lamps. Welcome to my store in Nice opposite the Masséna museum and just behind the famous Negresco hotel.
