It's really interesting to compare this charmful small painting with photographs of the exact same time (please see pictures) : one can identify the main mill as the famous Moulin de la Galette, which was painted by Renoir or Utrillo; it's interesting also to understand the presence of the massive metal structure on the right. Of course we identify the Montmartre basilica (Sacré Coeur) cupola on the left.
