Lemanceau St Clément Rabbit Cracked Ceramic Art Deco 1930
Lemanceau Saint Clement Ceramic from the Art Deco period around 1930. Old sculpture in shiny white ceramic, depicting a rabbit with geometric lines typical of Art Deco stylization, a period during which sculptures and representations of animals multiplied. Stamp St Clément Made in France in green stamped for the factory, the hollow signature Lemanceau for the artist practically invisible because absorbed by the thickness of the cover. Model numbered 23 in the St Clément sales catalog of 1930 which can be found listed in the books: Les Craquelés Art Déco by Alain René Hardy and Bruno Giardi, and Craquelés the ceramic animals by Patrick Malaureille and 150 Witte Keramische Dieren.
