Painting of a Madonna with a child crushing a serpent with her feet, a symbol of sin. The snake is imaginatively painted in the fantasy flavor.
The figure is in the foreground, enlarged and monumental, while the background is a harmonious Renaissance landscape, close to the Tuscan and Umbrian school.
Probable earlier dating: late 16th century, after Counter-Reformation.
In good condition.
