Small Lady's Furniture, In Rosewood And Rosewood, Transition Style - Nineteenth

Small lady's piece of furniture, essentially made of Rosewood and Rosewood, and Marquetry of tinted Light Woods. Its top is a very pretty Brèche Marble, authentic, predominantly Brown, harmoniously punctuated with Grey, White and Orange. Its front angles are rounded, its edge cut to Gorge. This piece of furniture offers two doors, equipped with keyholes and an ornate Bronze key, all original. Their facades are adorned with two Floral Decorations that seem to reflect each other, on a background of Rosewood Veneer in Four Leaves. These Marqueteries are underlined by Rosewood and Lemon tree friezes forming frames. The Walnut interior consists of two niches and two small drawers with brass pull buttons. In addition, this neighbor of the Secretary has six drawers of identical capacity, one above the doors, the other five below. All are trimmed with two pull handles in bronze carved into laurel wreaths. Their facades are embellished with Bois de Rose arranged in Chevrons and lined with Rosewood. The sides of this piece of furniture also benefit from Quality Marquetry, using the different patterns described above. The visible uprights are cutaway and finished with period bronze sabots. A Chute of the same alloy adorns the modestly scalloped low crosspiece.
