Engraved with the Orléans arms
Rare series of six gilt metal knives with fillets, the handles engraved with the arms of Ferdinand-Philippe, Duke of Orléans for five of them (open crown of Prince of the Blood) , the sixth with the arms of Louis-Philippe, King of the French (crown closed) with the mention "EU" (the latter coming from the King's service at the Château d'Eu, sent to England to the Orléans family after the revolution of February 1848).
Steel blades by Christofle, some of which have been refurbished.
Gilding wear.

Goldsmith hallmarks on the balance with CC and CHRISTOFLE marks.
