Otto Lindberg was a Swedish artist born in 1880 in Söderhamn.
The driving force in Lindberg's paintings was the fascination for Scandinavian nature, the four seasons with colourful landscapes and unbelievable gorgeous sunsets. This painting from 1918 is from the best period in his oeuvre; painted with a thick layer of impasto and short brushstrokes and a full spectrum of colours, making this piece very special.
