Louis XVI Sideboard In Cuban Mahogany And Flamed Marble - Eighteenth

Rare Cuban Mahogany Sideboard from the end of the 18th century. This Port Nantais cabinet is embellished on its Top with a Magnificent Flamed Marble of a deep black veined with white. Presenting projections on its front and rear sides as well as in its center, this Plateau is underlined by a Groove around its periphery. The Perfectly Symmetrical Front of this Unique Sideboard features Four Miter Cut and Entrance Doors, made up of a single panel of slightly Ruffled Cuban Mahogany. Surrounded by uprights with wide grooves separating the central part from the sides, these doors are provided with an iron and brass lock in working order, accompanied by their respective key. Inside, we find three shelves positioned on brackets, two cutlery drawers. Come to complete the storage capacity of this property. The Body of this Furniture follows the lines of the Marble and presents projections in the center and on each side. At the front it offers two Cut and Fluted Feet ending in turned wood. The Flanks of this Sideboard consist of a single large panel in solid Mahogany, the rear is in Oak. This Louis XVI Solid Mahogany Sideboard topped with its Luminous Marble will invite itself into an elegant and refined interior where it will stand out.
