Two Saints Portraits Facing Each Other, Haute Epoque Diptych

Two beautiful portraits, in the same pegged montage, of marvelous faces of freshness and youth, painted on canvas and mounted, the young Christ, blessing, the worried Virgin, praying. It would be a Flemish school, circa 1600, the back provides some information from about fifty years ago, but I am not an expert.
Condition of discovery, provenance, a family from Marseille. Good original condition for the portraits, but the early wooden assembly suffered, an iron clip encloses the upper part, I quite like.
