Gilt bronze clock on the theme of the mystery of love. It represents a warrior in armor looking at an engraved medallion. This warrior (halberdier) stands leaning on a terminal surmounted by a shield of an ax and a laurel wreath with the inscription "MISTERE" engraved on the shield. Lower under the dial the word "LOVE" is engraved on a shield surrounded by helmets of fannions and garlands. Rectangular gilt bronze plinth adorned with a superb allegorical frieze surrounded by shields swords and laurel branches. The warrior is armed with a large spear and an equally large sword. The sides of the terminal are decorated with winged victories symbolizing the triumph of love. The sides of the plinth are decorated with laurel wreaths. The whole rests on 4 winged lion feet.
