Very beautiful oak chest from the first half of the 16th century.
Its decor, very rich in sculptures on the facade, where an ornamental repertoire of: plant scrolls, fantastic animals such as mermaids and cherubs presenting the coat of arms of the kingdom of France is symmetrically deployed.
The lower band is punctuated in the center with a crest which is represented by a sword and a lance crisscrossed in a helm looking to the left which signifies that a person of this house has been ennobled.
Restoration inside on a hinge to strengthen it (see photo) can be removed easily.
