Lovely two-door lacquer cabinet with landscapes and still life scenes in the style of the Far East , chinoiserie or Japonism , a very popular style in France and Belgium at the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century.Good quality bronze ornaments in the Louis XV style.
The interior in mahogany with a folding door divided by horizontal and vertical shelves for documents.
A Portor marble top.
The back is stamped by Maître-Ebeniste Rosel, a manufacturer of high-end Brussels furniture , in a French fluid style (op.cit .: Chrystopher Payne: European furniture from the 19th century).
