Large painting woodcock hunting. Funny scene taken from life. By Louis Frédéric Schützenberger. Alsatian painter born and died in Strasbourg. Student at the Beaux-Arts in Paris from 1843. Figura at the Paris Salon from 1850. Received medals in 1851,1861 and 1863. Oil on canvas signed lower right . In its original frame with palmettes, in stuccoed wood gilded with leaf, in very good condition. Cleaned by my restaurateur. Frame dimensions: 107 X 91 cm, thickness 8 cm.
