Sculpture of the Head of Hygeia, Goddess of health, in plaster. Reproduction of the original work of Scopas de Paros which is in the National Museum of Athens (Greece). This sculpture is exceptional because it is, with the statue of Asclepius, the only originals saved from all the sculptural production of this author. Hygeia or Hygea is, in Greek mythology, the daughter of Asplecios, God of medicine. The set is in plaster. Early twentieth.
