Mastodon Tooth
Exceptional mastodon tooth, this animal lived after mammoths and before elephants. They disappeared around 9,000 years ago. We can see in the photos that the animal had broken the tip of its tooth to the nerve and a long time before dying because the tooth was rounded and repolished with use.
