Charles X Period Barometer, Diamond Shaped
CHARLES X period barometer (1824-1830). It is in the shape of a diamond. Fine rosewood and lemon marquetry work, lemon tree fillets on the frame, decorated with plant and floral friezes. Beautiful work of chiseled brass around the edge of the dial. Inscription on the dial: Mamet Cadet à Macon. It opens from behind. The barometer is not in working order.
