Walnut Secretaire Restored
French secretaire from the second half of the 1800s,
in Walnut wood with flap top and secret drawers.
The walnut veneer is expertly used to decorate the front of the cabinet.
Inside we find six small drawers for storing objects,
plus two with secret snap opening for the most precious jewels.
Under the top, in elm wood, a retractable drawer.
The flap top, with green antiqued leather and gold decoration,
has original lock and key.
Further down there are three other comfortable drawers with oak wood interiors.
The height of the open flap top is 77 cm and its maximum depth is 90 cm.
Restored and polished, internally and externally, with shellac with a wax finish
