Beautiful cast iron. old edition with a beautiful nuanced patina in very good condition The marble base has been restored, but this restoration is invisible (only visible by looking at the underside of the base as shown in the photo)

Antonin INJALBERT Son of a stonemason, Jean-Antoine Injalbert was motherless at birth. He spent his childhood in Béziers, then entered the École des beaux-arts: neo-baroque art of this pupil of Auguste Dumont is marked by the influence of Puget, Carpeaux and by the naturalism of Jules Dalou.
