Superb very large lamp in gilded bronze and pink marble in the shape of an Athenian. According to the works of Pierre Gouthière, our lamp is of very high quality. Very fine carving of gilded bronze with Louis XVI Neoclassical attributes with figures of rams heads, and jambs ending in sheep's feet. Tripod base with openwork bronze spacer decorated with piastres. The ball urn in veined pink marble is reminiscent of the planet Jupiter. Acanthus leaf rosette ornamentation under the lighting part. Very beautiful original shiny and matt gilding. Working electrical system, white pleated shade. Some scratches from use on the marble.
