Nice white marble and gilt bronze clock with red marble columns. Red Levanto marble base surmounted by a Carrare marble stairway. The clock is decorated by gilt bronze laurel leaves and laurel frieze, garlands, fir cones and beaded edge.A gilt bronze statue of the goddess Ceres with her cornucopia is situated in the center. Ceres is the goddess of Agriculture, Harvest and Fertility.
Enamelled dial signed "E Lohse A Paris".
