Mieczyslaw Olszewski is a Polish nonconformist painter born in 1945. Former student of the Faculty of Painting of the National Superior School of Fine Arts in the years 1963-69, he later became professor of the Academy of Fine Arts and director of the Institute of Painting. His works can be found in the collections of the National Museum in Gdansk, the National Museum in Szczecin, the Regional Museum in Torun ... as well as in private collections around the world.
