Set of four Parisian chairs upholstered curvaceous form in beech wood molded, carved and encaustic. Elegant chairs with harmonious proportions, back in cabriolet violoné, seat as generous as hospitable, sinuous belt, base with inverted camber punctuated with foliage. A powerful play of vigorous and deep moldings moves the whole woodwork. This one is enhanced by a powerful work of deep carvings, such as; beds of fine flowers and foliage in the middle part, belt and at the top of the back. A matching decoration adorns the corner stops at the shoulder of the front legs. Balance, nervousness, elegance and quality are the most appropriate terms for this beautiful series of chairs. It is worth noting the great care taken with the connecting elements of impeccable quality. The flourishing of the moldings, to which is added the floral decoration of the bouquets and the garlands of foliage allow to date this series of Parisian chairs to the years 1750-1755. We draw your attention to the width and depth of the seats which give these chairs a perfect comfort. These chairs have been perfectly restored by the cabinetmaker and upholsterer of their previous owner; such as the total restoration of the seats and backs; the upholstery, the strapping and the covering by a cowhide leather. patinated of havana color as well as collages and a enture. All times we proceeded to a preventive treatment because we noticed some light pitting and so a new encaustication was made. Dimensions: Height 83.5cm, seat height 45cm - Seat width 55cm.
