Cartel And Its Regency Style Lamp Ass In Boulle Marquetry Eighteenth Century

Regency style cartel and its lamp base in marquetry of brown tortoiseshell, brass and gilded bronze from the 18th century, movement signed J. Gouchon in Paris. Violin-shaped, it opens on the front with a glass door. It is adorned with a delicate marquetry of rinses, foliage and stylized flowers. the set enriched with an important gilded bronze garniture decorated with chimaeras, eagles, mascarons, sun, gadroons, flowers, foliage surmounted by the goddess of youth Hebe accompanied by the eagle of her father Jupiter.
