Very large and beautiful Murano glass vase in homage to the artist Joan Miró. The art of Murano glass (Venice / Italy) is recognized around the world for its production of precious and unique handcrafted works. As Murano glass is naturally colorless, the colors are obtained by adding small amounts of minerals, oxides and chemical derivatives to the glass powder. Cobalt is used for blue gradations, selenium for red, iron chromium nickel for violet, manganese for black, copper oxide for green. By virtue of its size and colors, this piece is a true work that affirms Miró's colors and pictorial style. Signed "Schuiven" and dated 2005. 4 copies worldwide. Copy numbered 1 out of 4 Perfect condition
