Louis XVI Period Commode - Palissandre & Rosewood - 18th
Louis XVI commode in rosewood veneer, rosewood and sycamore inlaid. This chest of drawers has 3 drawers on the front. Its harmonious proportions make it particularly attractive. It rests on 4 tapered inlaid feet. Indeed the curling work is interesting and of quality. All the uprights simulate grooves. The bronzes elegantly dress the dresser. Finally, she is wearing her vintage Saint Anne marble. It has been completely restored. Marble has very slight play which is easily and perfectly stabilized by a wedge.
