A sculpture depicting the Buddha Amida (Japanese Amida Nyorai). The Buddha arranges his hands in a gesture of "vitarka mudra" or teaching, the index finger and thumb touch together to form a circle representing the Buddhist Law Circle. The Buddha sculpture is made with the greatest care and finesse, which can be seen on the face, hands and tusks of the figures. It stands against the background of a mandorla, on a multi-story base with decorations, among others. in the form of lotus flowersCarved, lacquered and gilded wood.

Buddha Amitabha - has been worshiped in Japan since the 7th century. The Buddha of the Future, also referred to as "the immeasurable light" (hence the custom of gilding statues), is associated with Mahayana Buddhism and the Pure Land of Supreme Wisdom. His attribute is a lotus, sometimes he was depicted in the trinity - with bodyguards Bodhisattvas - Kannon (Avalotitesvara) and Seishi (Mahasthamaprata).
The state of preservation is visible in the photos. Missing fingers, lotus leaves on the base, and also missing metal fittings on the base.
