Rare marine chest, probably from a Norman or Breton shipowner, from the 18th century, in oak formerly lacquered. Beautiful ironwork and three locks, with their 2 original keys. The side hinges hide the keyholes. Large central lock. Wrought iron handles on the sides for transport. Good condition, usual restorations especially at the bottom, formerly repaired.
