China, Qing dynasty, 19th century, very nice pair of bronze vases richly decorated with dragons and water turtles in reserves in the center, roosters' heads as sockets, lingzhis mushrooms under the flared necks and gadroons on the foot. The whole is treated with great refinement by the quality of the sculpture restoring the finesse of the details. Under the base mark with two hollow characters under the base (Zong Fu). We find this same brand under two bronze vases sold in May 2019 in Salisbury (England) during a cataloged sale of Asian arts. Height 13.5 cm.
