Seventeenth-century Bergamo chest of drawers, 93 x 130 x 60 cm, in walnut and briar walnut.

In the sobriety of this furniture an important decorative element, intensely chiaroscuro thanks to the game of walnut and briar walnut absolutely unusual but even more valuable for the furniture of the time. The piece of furniture made of solid walnut rests on bracket feet each connected to the base strongly molded by two volutes attached to them.

The 3 large drawers underline their division through a molded frame that frames them. Inside this protrudes the warmth of the walnut briar capable of creating a carving and almost (if you allow me) an elegant inlay in the central part: each drawer is then divided into 3 parts; in the two side there are the vintage knobs while in the central one there is the keyhole.

The upper top protrudes over the chest of drawers and has a solid walnut top on top.

The paintings and works of art published here are my exclusive property and therefore are always available to be viewed, by appointment, in my exhibition sites located in Sanremo and Brescia.

This item , like all our objects, is sold accompanied by a photographic certificate FIMA of authenticity and lawful origin; this document identifies the object by adding more value to the article.
