18th-century Flemish Still Life

A delightful Flemish still life, oil on panel, measuring 28 x 35 cm unframed and 38 x 45 cm with a period frame.

We can appreciate the beauty of the lifelike depiction of the fruit and the truly high-quality rendering of the shell and vase; the vivid colors and the interplay between the foreground and the rest of the panel lead me to believe this is a Flemish composition from the late 18th century.

The paintings and works of art published here are my exclusive property and are therefore always available for viewing in person, by appointment, at my exhibition spaces located in Sanremo and Brescia.
