Chryséléphantine
Subject in gilded bronze and ivory for the head and arms of this young villager. She walks with her hands on her hips, holding a basket (of fish) on her right arm. She is wearing a pretty, slightly puffed dress and a 'Charlotte' hat. Signed "Omerth", active from 1895 to 1925, on the back of the mound. Morello cherry marble plinth.
