Tapestry most certainly from Brussels. the meeting of the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon in an entourage of characters. The weaving of great finesse, the complex patterns and their ornamental richness, testify to a production of very great luxury. Despite the absence of an original flower border, the centered subject appears to be complete. A fine original border on the edges seems to confirm this. Some old restorations to report. Good state of solidity.
