18th Century Reliquary Cross And Paperolles

A moving cross to the glory of the Virgin Mary, relics of saints and decoration of paperolles under glass from the late 18th century. Nice size for this cross made of cardboard and covered with papers. The interior has a multitude of patterns with windings of paper, and different compartments protecting the relics of Saints such as: Saint Valentine, Saint Anthony, Saint Faustin, Saint Augustine ... also in a niche the Virgin and child. The whole remains under glass in three parts; two-tone cotton edging around the edge. Nice wallpaper with a beige background decorated with brown patterns flocked in imitation of Genoa velvet all over the exterior of the cross, some old restorations visible. Suspension ties in a black velvet ribbon. The whole is in good condition, even in very good condition, no lack of interior decor.
