Neo-Greek style clock and urn by Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810-1892) and Louis-Constant Sévin (1821-1888).
Etruscan clock in black marble and decorated with polychrome champlevé enamels, the angles are decorated with high-relief masks representing masks of bearded men and separated by a frieze in champlevé enamel. Surmounted by an antique urn decorated with palm leaves with two handles representing bearded masks and decorated in enamel. The dial is also enamelled and the movement is signed by Lefebvre & Fils Paris, the urn bears the signature of the manufacturer, publisher and founder F. BARBEDIENNE and attributed to the designer-ornamentalist Louis-Constant Sévin.
