State cabinet said to recess; Italie from the 17th century. It is veneer of red scales, bone and ivory plaques finely engraved and inked, cast and gilded bronzes. The gallery has a frieze of plain bronze balusters. The central door presents two thin detached ivory columns, framing the representation of the Virgin on a globe. In the upper part, an ivory baluster balcony On each side, three superimposed drawers reptesent on the right of the hunts in Africa, on the left, of the hunts in Europe, according to ANTONIO TEMPESTA (1555-1630) The door conceals four drawers. The two wrought iron handles. Provenance: Private collection and Bresset in Paris in 1975 Good furnished condition in its own juice
