Large and beautiful mid-twentieth century painting, oil on panel signed lower left Allonsius, representing a shark fishing scene in Martinique. Beautiful composition by the traveling painter and sculptor Daniel Jacques ALLONSIUS, who finished his studies at the school of fine arts in Fort de France in 1951, before returning to Paris where he worked as a painter and sculptor.
