First applied to jewelry, the cloisonné decoration (goldsmith's technique), will gain in popularity and extend to the decpraive arts. The partition will be used for metal vases, then for ceramics and enamel objects.
For this technique, it is a question of defining the outline of the patterns using a thin metal strip welded to the field of the metal. The cells thus obtained are filled with enamel.
Everything is then cooked and sanded. Our vases are also in chiseled bronze: the chisel work bronze in relief, using a hammer and various objects. This work is done once the object is melted, in order to create a decor with finesse.
