Oil on canvas depicting a mill where we see the miller returning from the wheel, a farmyard in the foreground facing two washerwomen working at their work, the whole being in the style of the painters of the Barbizon school. Very beautiful work signed lower right "Laurent", very good hand. We notice the study of water, sky and trees which is similar to the work of Galien Laloue, typical of the landscapes of the Ile de France in the 19th century. Work presented in a very beautiful 19th century frame in wood and gilded stucco. Two pieces of reinforcement on the back of the canvas in no way altering the quality of the work. Dimensions of the canvas 46.5x55 cm. Total dimensions, with frame, 66x76 cm.
