Large Copper Jug - Italy (?), 17th C

Beautiful and large copper BUIRE in baluster shape with pedestal, flared neck, removable domed cover with chain and bridged tubular weir. It is adorned in repoussé enhanced with engraving of four friezes of large gadroons and repetitive stamped patterns imitating fish scales.
Height: 45 cm.
