Superb felt-tip drawing made by master Salvador DALI and dedicated to Jordi (for his friend and pupil Georges T. - in Catalan, Georges = Jordi). This drawing was made on the frontispiece of the book "les passions selon Dali" written by Pauwels, published by Denoël, published in 1968.
We decided to remove the pages of the book and have them framed so that this drawing can be admired, especially since it is a rare subject in the work of Dali (who often represented a star, a crown or a Don Quixote which accompanied the dedications). The drawing is also personalized, the myth of Saint George having been chosen especially for his friend Georges T.

If there are dedications by Dali on the market, they are rarely accompanied by a very beautiful drawing BUT ESPECIALLY there is a very large number of fake Dali including for the dedicated drawings !!

This drawing has a solid provenance, remarkable graphics and theme, you have a unique opportunity to acquire an original drawing by one of the greatest artists of the 20th century !!

The most beautiful surrealist drawings of Dali can sell for several hundred thousand euros, his dedicated drawings allow, for a reasonable budget, to acquire a work by the genius!

Felt-tip pen on paper

22 x 27 cms at sight (with recent frame and protective glass, 38 x 43 cms)

Dedicated at the top center "A Jordi", signed "Dali" under the dedication on the right page, signed a second time "Dali" under the dragon

Very good general condition, the two pages of the book "les passions according to Dali" were detached and reunited by a professional restorer in order to be able to frame the drawing, she removed the molds which were at the junction of the pages (see last photos of the album). The work is now ready to be seen in your home !

Provenance: Offered by Salvador DALI to Georges T. (the full name will be communicated to the buyer), painter, collaborator and student of DALI in the early 1970s - the last photo in the album shows Georges T. in the company of Salvador DALI. We have personally acquired a set of DALI drawings and photographs from Georges T.'s nephew and have kept the larger drawing (which represents Hermès) for our personal collection

Photos taken in natural light, sun then shadow
