A pair of porcelain plates for the Princes or Officers service, decorated in the centre with the figure of King Louis XVIII in gold within a wreath of laurel leaves. The shards are restored.
Manufacture royale de Sèvres, Louis XVIII period (1814-1824).
Marked with a blue stamp with the King's figure, one with gilder's marks dated 1815.

Provenance
This service is called "des Princes" or "des Officiers" in the archives of the Sèvres manufactory, it was used in all the residences of the Crown and presents the same decoration as the service of the Officers under the Empire, with the difference that the figure of Napoleon was replaced by that of Louis XVIII.
