Exceptional Center Table "Boulle marquetry in very good condition, a beveled glass and placed to protect the marquetry on the top. Ceremonial table in the shape of a violin, with a structure in blackened pear wood, almost entirely covered with a "boulle" marquetry. This technique, which consists of a superposition of Red Tortoise Shells and chiseled brass, allows to obtain these arabesques, foliages and volutes of great finesse. The curves and counter-curves of the top are highlighted by a wide brass rod shaped into foliage. The moving belt, following the lines of the top, opens on the front with a drawer assembled in dovetails.
