"J.b. Boulard, Louis XVI Period Pair Of Armchairs"

Beautiful pair of armchairs with square backrest à la Reine, in cream relacquered and coral rechampi beechwood, molded and carved, standing on four tapered, fluted and rudentated legs.
One stamped Jean-Baptiste Boulard, master in Paris in 1755.
Louis XVI period.
Very good condition.
This armchair is reproduced in the book of Pierre Kjellberg, "The French furniture", page 102, edition of 1998.
