Napoleon III Crinoline Dress, Cashmere Shawl With Purple Background, Nineteenth Costume
Old crinoline dress dating from the 1860s. Costume cut from a large woolen shawl decorated with palm leaves. Very nice contrast of orange and purple. Bodice closing at the front with hooks, concealed by large fabric buttons. All in very good condition and in bright colors. Note sunstroke on the sleeves.
