Porcelain plate decorated with a gold rosette in the center and on the wing of palmettes and garlands of gold foliage on an agate blue background. Marked: Eagle in red S54 to 1854. Diameter: 24.5 cm. This plate takes up the decor of the service of King Louis-Philippe at the châteaux of Saint-Cloud. The agate blue background appeared on Sèvres porcelain from 1773. It was then called agathe blue. Some wear to the gilding. good condition
