Gustave VIDAL (1895-1966) "Landscape of the South, Corsica", oil on canvas signed lower right, 46 x 55 cm Born in 1895 in Avignon, Gustave VIDAL is a marine and landscape painter. Laureate of the Fine Arts of Avignon where he obtains numerous awards. He participates in Paris, at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he is a member. He painted landscapes of Provence, Camargue, Corsica and Ardèche.
