Louis XIII Armchair
Une assise très large et un dossier haut pour cette assise en bois de noyer ciré qui présente des proportions généreuses. Le dossier est légèrement incliné. Les accoudoirs sont courbes et les extrémités se terminent par un enroulement et une feuille d'acanthe sculptée. Les quatre pieds sont tournés en balustres ainsi que l'entretoise en H. Deux beaux tours en forme ovale soutiennent la base du dossier. Une tapisserie du XIXe siècle à petits points la recouvre. A very wide seat and a high backrest for this waxed walnut wood seat which has generous proportions. The backrest is slightly inclined. The armrests are curved and the ends end with a winding and a carved acanthus leaf. The four legs are turned in balusters as well as the spacer in H. Two beautiful oval-shaped towers support the base of the backrest. A 19th century tapestry with small dots covers it.
