In a very beautiful frame certainly in pressed horn decorated with foliage scrolls in the four angles signed HFV à PARIS, a miniature portrait is surrounded by a gilded brass strapping. The suspension ring is original as well as the paper on the back. Portrait of a quality lady seated on a high-backed seat. In the background a large blue curtain is held back by a tieback. Beautiful work of the folds of her dress.
