"Pair Of Christofle Sauce Boats, Arms Of Count De Meeûs d'Argenteuil, Paris Around 1890"
Very nice pair of Napoleon III gravy boats in silver plate from the workshops of Christofle. They can be taken apart as a tray and gravy boat and one of them has a detachable interior. On the plate of each gravy boat is a heraldic engraving with the alliance coat of arms of a Count de Meeûs d'Argenteuil and his wife accompanied by the motto "Virtute et Prudentia" and crowned with a crown.
