It is made in Macassar ebony by the greatest cabinetmakers of this world-renowned house which works for the largest families and the largest companies in this world. It opens with a lockable glass door which reveals a series of 10 drawers including 2 drawers for the humidifiers and the thermometer. It was part of the Fauchon store in Paris. Rare item on the market. It could also be used as a luxury watch box, which is also one of the specialties of Elie Bleu.
